Emmy: The achievement award statuette given by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (equivalent to the Oscar for feature films). |
Eight-By-Ten (8x10): A commonly used size of gloss photos. |
Employer of Record (EOR): The Company responsible for taxes and unemployment benefits. This function is often fulfilled by the payroll company such as Entertainment Partners or Media Services, etc. |
Eighteen-To-Play-Younger: Legally 18 years old, but can be convincingly cast to play a younger aged character. |
End Marker: (Also called end slate, tail sticks, or tail slate.) The slate photographed at the end of a take if, for any reason, a slate was not (or could not be) photographed at the beginning, or if there was a mistake on the beginning slate. An end slate is held upside-down to be photographed. |

Emancipated Minor: A child who has been given the legal status of an adult by a judge. |
End Titles: The list of names acknowledging the participants in a film or television production, shown at the end of the presentation. Also know as End Credits. See Credits. |
